World Greatest Shave

Executive Director, Stuart Richardson set the team a challenge, "raise $1500 for the Leukaemia Foundation and its all coming off..." So, the team set about doing just that, meeting the challenge and participating in the World's Greatest Shave.

Jeans for Genes Day

The richardson:o'rourke team cashed in their 'corporate suits' for jeans and t-shirts on Friday 3rd Aug 07 in support of Jeans for Genes Day. Members of team become 'Genies' for the day, selling badges and merchandise to raise funds for the Children's Medical Research Institute.

 

Evan Hourigan Memorial Walk

A walk around Lake Burley Griffin was held on Sunday 20 May 2007 to honour and celebrate the life of Evan Hourigan. Evan was a proud and popular Canberran who participated in many sporting and social events and a key member of the richardson:o’rourke team. He was 34 when he tragically passed away while competing in a triathlon. Over 1000 people were in attendance and all proceeds went to supporting Evan's young children with their development and educational needs for the future.

With entrepreneurship, innovation, planning, leadership and team building at the heart of Young Achievement Australia, richardson:o'rourke is delighted to support this not for profit charity and help to develop Australia's business leaders of the future.

In support of the Business Skills Program, memebers of the richardson:o'rourke team mentor tertiary students providing them with real-life learning experience in the world of business.

 

Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Australia

richardson:o'rourke was proud to support the Canberra branch of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Australia by hosting the 2006 Wish Day cocktail party. The evening was a great success raising over $10,000 with all proceeds going towards the Canberra Branch.

The Foundation provides immense benefit, not only to the children and their families affected by serious illnesses, but the community at large.
